Purchased a ticket/receipt at the station, I was supporting a person with special needs. On boarding the train we discovered we were allocated seating in the wheelchair access area which is like a holding area for baby prams and wheelchairs. I questions this and was told this was correct. I in turn was then questions on the type of paperwork I had by the person in charge Mike.I explained that this paperwork had been issued at the entrance desk,.Unfortunatly Mike had not seen anything like it before so it left a question hanging, did I print it myself??? No I didnt. There was an older gentleman who was very helpful and we were allocated an empty seat in coach D. Sorry to say but I was made to feel I had done something wrong, Im not at all happy with this treatment as my service user paid 21 to sit in a holding area.
Spent a day at the Caledonian Railway with my husband who had a Steam train driver experience, we both had a brilliant time. Thanks to Jonathan for helping me to organize this and all your time today. It was a great day and we will be back
